Principals Corner

Dear Families,

It’s hard to believe we’re already in the final six weeks of the school year! This season brings a mix of excitement, growth, and celebration for our students—and they continue to amaze us each day.

We’re so proud of how hard our students Have worked , especially as they completed their spring assessments. These assessments help us see just how much they've grown throughout the year, and let me tell you—our students are shining! Their perseverance, focus, and positive attitudes have truly stood out, and we couldn’t be more impressed.

We also have many exciting events ahead—field trips, classroom celebrations, and performances that highlight all their accomplishments. One very special event is coming up on June 2nd: “Ice Cream for a Cause,” sponsored by our incredible PTO. The Darling's Ice Cream Truck will be here that night and all proceeds will be donated to a student and their family to help support their journey with cancer. We hope to see many of you there as we come together in kindness and community.

Kindergarten will not have school on May 27th or 28th as we screen next years incoming Kindergarten students. We are excited to welcome and meet our new students those two days.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement. You play such a key role in your child’s success, and we are grateful to partner with you.

Let’s finish the year strong—together! Have a wonderful long weekend.

Warm regards,
Tina Brackley McDonald

Attendance Matters

As we approach the final weeks of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your dedication to ensuring your child’s attendance throughout the year. Consistent attendance plays such an important role in student success, and your support in getting your child to school each day has made a huge difference in their growth and learning.

As we head into the home stretch, I encourage everyone to stay focused and committed to finishing strong. The final weeks are filled with exciting events and opportunities to celebrate all of the hard work and achievements from this school year. We know that our students will continue to shine, and we want to see them finish this year just as strong as they started.

Thank you once again for your continued support and for partnering with us in your child’s education. Let’s make these last weeks count!
