Dear Hussey Families,
It has been a great first week of school! We have been so excited to see all our students. It is like they have never left with how quickly they have adapted to the routines. We conducted our first fire drill and it went smoothly. I am so proud of our students and staff.
In addition, parent drop off and pick up has been expectational. We have been able to release students quickly and safely to parents. We ask that cars leaving parent pick up allow the buses to leave if the cars and buses are exiting at the same time.
Next week we will have our first early release on Wednesday Sept. 11 at 11:45 am. Please call the office by 10 am. This allows the office enough time to ensure that dismissal lists are updated.
We will be moving to electronic communication this year. Please notified the office if you are in need of hard copies of our notices. We will be using Class Dojo, Facebook and email. If you need help getting on to Class Dojo please contact your student's teacher. Please like Lillian P Hussey Elementary School on Facebook.
Our 1st fundraiser in conjunction with our PTO will be starting Sept. 18th so please stay tuned for more information.
