We will be administering the Through Year NWEAs in October for reading and math for grades 3- 6 as part of the state assessment. The week of 10/06/25, students will be taking the assessment on their school devices. Our students in 1st and 2nd grade will take the MAP® Growth™ test from NWEA® the week of 9/29/25. Kindergarten students will participate in the assessment during the winter window. The NWEAs results help teachers check student performance by measuring achievement and growth. Teachers use results to tailor targeted interventions for students and to inform their instruction. The NWEA assessments are unique and adapt to student’s responses to measure their skill level. These results will provide a more complete picture of what students know and are ready to learn. Following each testing period, parents will receive a Family Report showing a summary of how their child is performing academically.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be taking place the week of 10/13/25. Teachers will be reaching out to parents to set up a time to meet to discuss your child’s progress at the half-way point in the trimester. This is a good time to connect with your child’s teacher to hear all the great things that are going on and recommendations of things that can be done at home to help retain skills. Conferences will continue to be held either in-person, via zoom, or through phone calls.
